Laurie Dennis has been teaching CPR/first aid classes for 24 years and thoroughly enjoys what she does. She puts a great deal of energy and enthusiasm into each and every class and never makes participants feel uncomfortable or embarrassed. The class atmosphere is very non-threatening and offers opportunities for questions and comments. Be a Life Saver uses great training products that include: Laerdal manikins and pocket masks, Philips AED trainers, and First Aid Only supplies. Student to manikin ratio is nearly always 1:1 or 2:1. Having a complete grasp of today’s emergency lifesaving techniques is easy and affordable. Each course approaches a very serious topic in a fun and exciting way that leaves each person feeling confident, capable and, most of all, motivated to act in an emergency. As a thank you for setting up the training, the site coordinator receives a thank you gift. At the end of each class, several lucky students will receive a first aid related prize. For no extra charge, Be a Life Saver will bring the class to you. When you’re learning CPR or first aid skills, our instructors find that it is most relaxing to be in a familiar environment without the anxiety of new faces and a new place. It also enhances relationships between co-workers by providing an opportunity to work together in a fun and non-stressful atmosphere.
